It's not valve but the Soundelux iFet7 sounds as if it may have similar characteristics? I have one and the top end is very clean, slightly forward but sounds gorgeous if the singer has a rich sound to begin with. Have you tried Unity audio? They still advertise Soundelux on their site. Or have you thought about the Telefunken AK47? Had good reviews though I've not heard it myself
