You've said you have fun with the originals, so keep them. They obviously work for you. I personally have the ER-1 and EA-1mk2. I love the ER to pieces, while the ea's onboard synth is fun, it lacks a lot of things.
Thing is I enjoyed programming the ea, so I kept it and bought a Virus C
which I program mostly off the ea. I would recommend hanging on to both machines and grabbing a mean synth which you can program with one of your electribes rather than lose something that you already know works for you.
