I've searched GS and the REW help for a while now, but can't find the answer to this:

Is it possible to do measurements without calibrating with a SPL meter first?

Could I just hook up my mic->pre->PTHD, and then configure the ins and outs in REW, and go?

I'm home for the night but would like to get going with REW tomorrow morning. Would be nice to know if I have to get an SPL meter (and if it has to be any specific model, or features) on my way to the studio tomorrow.

If there's a good REW thread that I've missed, please tell me.
