The Behringer B2 Pro for $149 also uses a Beijing 797 Audio 6u capsule with a broad 5dB peak centered at 12kHz, has switchable patterns and a transformerless output circuit that benefits from the usual tweaks.
Getting the older models like the B2, V67g and 2003 that are past their peak in the sales cycle and have been reduced in price is a good buying strategy.
