I'm starting to look around for a really decent mic . I recently got a chandler ( thanks for all the posts about it BTW ) and a fireface So I believe my mic is the weakest link .
I currently have a baby bottle and I record mostly vox at my home setup , But I also bring gear from home to the studio for recording sessions . I record everything style will not be listed since I record such a wide variety .
at the studio we use a nueman tlm 149 most of the time ( just in case you were wondering )
Ive looked at the violet mic posts / threads here but Im not sure about them .
What I think I will do is order two mics and choose between the two ( hoping that I can do this with mics )
Im looking to spend at least a 1,000 no more than 2,000 .
