Ok, while the knobs aren't the most solid I've ever come across, I must admit I don't mind the long travels. I would rather have the possibility to fine tune than not. I mean, compared to being able to fine tweak versus making a lightning cut off (which I consider merely a musical sound effect with limited application) I think most prefer precise tweaking. I do, anyway.
