Depends on the patch. Drums and bass I usually track mono, the rest stereo.
I play all my stuff live: XS --> Vintech 473 --> Rosetta800 -->Nuendo
Most of the time I track with fx too ... tutt I know, but this is just to get the track going without any mixing. What I have been doing lately is keep the MIDI part so I can retrack mono or without fx when I get the big call
