I built one as well but the construction was no where as sexy as yours... I used the vinly stuff and mineral wool covered with sheets. Insulation stripping where the door closes. There's not much sound that escapes and you can easily have a conversation next to the box while the Marshalls are set to 11. Just some LF's escape. I sometimes just use 1 cabinet lengthwise and change out cabinets but it is a major PITA.
It actually sounds pretty good but different since it's "in the box"... It does sound better with the door partly open and a mic in the room but that's almost defeating the purpose. Sounds MUCH better than anything software.
