The Box of Rock is nothing like the TS9. Thank god. The Box Of Rock was the 1st distortion pedal for me that made sense to record with. Less compressed and more reactionary than most pedals I've tried, and it seems to boost lows in the overdrive channel.

The Boost section is nice, it brings highs out, not mids. Though all the Box of Rock pedals I've tried sound different, as in I like some and not others.
