I think you should listen to K+H 0300s with the new 0 810 sub, as it probably would do better in every way. I have a set and I would say they are less coloured than the B&W and have more headroom through the midrange, at least. The 0 410 (I haven't heard it) is supposed to be better still than the 0300s with sub. It would cost you a little less than the B&W and includes amplification which would probably cost you thousands to duplicate.
The Barefoot MM27 would probably slay the B&W, too, but be harder for you to get.
