Your organization is paramount. I suggest building a couple useful session templates. I usually open a blank session and import the appropriate template which are vocal tracking, production, and mixing. Sometimes I have other templates but those three have everything I need within a import session data command.
Quick keys are everything. If you are clicking with the mouse on the various editing tools or modes then you probably aren't ready.
