Could we talk a little more about this phenomenon, or could someone perhaps point me towards some info (a book, web page, or whatever) on it? These quotes really surprised me when I read them, and it seems somewhat counter-intuitive. Should I really believe that a room as skewed as the one in DanDan's first post would function so well (9/10) as a performance and control room?
