Whoa... Got a lot of emails this morning. I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow so I will be returning them over the next few days.

As far as mixers that are out of town, it's not really what I'm looking for for numerous reasons:

1. I'm a creature of habit and have gotten spoiled by having a mixer at my place.

2. I like to do finish tweaks with the client, I want the sessions to open fully on my system. I have a lot of boutique plugs and when guys want to have sessions that they did in their room be able to open on my system the usually use only Waves plugins and it just doesn't always sound the best it can.

3. I like to sometimes have the mixer work with me on production and give me their input on what they think the guitars should sound like from a mixers stand point.

4. I love working with someone local so they can just jump over in a pinch if they can.

5. I have found sometimes a mixer alone on an entire mix can be a time and money waster. I can't tell you how many times mixers go in a direction that the client or I don't see the vision and they end up spending countless hours automating rides and effects that are going to be scrapped in reality. This doesn't mean I stand over anyones shoulder, it's just I teach voice in the room next door so I hear while the mixing is going on and if something I hear isn't going to work I can circumvent the situation and avoid wasted time and money.

So, honestly working long term with someone out of state or out of country is slim to none. I really want someone to come on board learn my room and make it happen. Be apart of what we have going on. I'm also not looking for someone to relocate for this gig. It's not that kind of gig, it's something where you may put in long hours for 2 weeks and then nothing for a 3 weeks. I really want an independant local mixer to jump in. Someone who's getting radio level mixes.

I know guys with nice rooms want to work in their spot, I understand that. Maybe a local guy can get the mix happening at their place and then bring it to mine to finish tweak it. I'm not opposed to buying plugins that we need to make it happen.

Peace
