| work fast - work slow
with modern DAW's I like the fact that you can work extremely fast. back in the ol' days that used to be good too. getting a band together, setting up the mics quickly and let it roll. I personally believe that too much editing slams the life out of music. happens to me sometimes as well. but still: working fast, really works best for me. I prefer recording quickly with Ableton Live instead of editing with a Protools-set.
