I agree about the 2db step, but you can always push it 4db and take the resolution down a bit if you want to get in between 2 and 4, correct? Although, the rest of your fq's get all messed up.....I pretty much use my 5500 on the 2buss, so it makes recall a bit easier when they are stepped, but I totally see where you are coming from.
