...if I remember correctly, the Safe Sound P1 was given more props in it's price range than the Chameleon/JoeMeek/Focusrite stuff...that's what I'm trying to confirm...even seperate mic pre & compressor components (say a Black Lion Auteur/FMR RNLA combo for instance) that total less than $1000 would be of interest if that would deliver a better track...used price points are helpful as well...
