Valid point I think the BLA is a must have for the price. Its a thick warm sound. I did some vocals using a u87 and I must say I was very very impressed how clean think and detailed it was. The Midrange is very smooth on the BLA for under 500.00 a must have you can get the GD m101 one channel for 600.00 and its not as good.
I say get both but start iwth the BLA auteur!
