Hey guys,

I'm a sound engineer who's just moved country and have managed to pick up some freelance work for a company making online promo videos from my home protools setup.

Thing is, in the past I only worked for a post-production house and never dealt with money directly, as I was on a salary.

Any ideas what you would / should charge as a hourly rate or a total fee for a 30 second video involving a medium degree of sfx, a voice over and a final mix??

I'm in Vancouver Canada, if that makes any difference! Any help would be great appreciated.
