Want to record vocals (pop/rock) in a few days and i am a bit curious what you have for the settings on your TT CL1B!?
It is usual pop / rock recording and i gonna use Korby Kat U67 Mic--> API / Neve Pre -> Tube Tech CL1B.
Perhaps I should mention that there are "Mullard" tubes in it, if it can affect how you set it differently!!
It is probably not necessary to have mentioned specific settings of the gain and threshold as they are dependent upon the input level.
4 exempel:
Compression: 4-5 dB
Attack/release select: Mannual or Fix or Fix/Man
Attack: 2 o'clock
Release: 10 o'clock
Ratio: 10-2 o'clock
