What you need is a MIDI interface. Using that, you can sync pro-tools and the MPC using MIDI Timecode (MTC). This way you can do multiple passes of audio recording (8 tracks at a time) and they will all sync up in the end as you are running the MPC from the Pro-Tools transport.
