I think it's an understandable confusion, as they were originally made in the same form factor as the 1073 (and the like), and could even be used to replace old modules. Allotrope isn't exactly a name that sticks in your head, and referencing that old module is meaningful to what, 6 people?
I think Tony's post is pretty clearly talking about the EQ, and it's application for 2 bus.
Still, the irony in AC's post is striking.
