According to Dave - no it won't BUT I only asked him about an accidental momentary application of 48v (wasn't paying close enough attention when I went to hit the pad button and hit the 48v button instead - it was only on for about 2 secs). I don't know about continuously feeding it 48v though - better be safe and email him for a definitive answer.
