Highest number of tracks I recorded was 11 with the drum session (8 mics on the drums, 1 guide vocal, 1 guide bass DI, 1 guide guitar DI). After that I could blend the recorded/dry signal nicely from the US-1641 to record the other instruments. I only recorded in 16bit because I had some trouble with the hard disk. Once it's replaced, I will do another recording in 24bit. The US seems to handle multiple track record/playback without glitches.

You guys have such a unique sound and approach all I can say is YOU ROCK!!!!
Keep doin what you're doin lads. It's such a glut market of so many thousands of artists sounding the same. You are truly a breath of fresh air
I added four US1641s to one of my recording vans for extra channels. They are quite good and usable channel I/O for field work as well as low latency studio extra channels.
