The tube Sat knob did behave a little differently. It took a little more gain to get any kind of break up but I attributed that to 12AT7 being lower gain tubes than the 12AX7.

what the hell knob are you guys talking about?
call me crazy, but my MPA gold doesn't have a saturation control on it anywhere...at least not anything specifically labeled as such
