Hi all!

One question... I have never done a live concert recording of bassoon and piano. The concert is in a good sounding hall, nothing special though.
As a bassoon is a large instrument and not so equivalent to a concert grand, should I spot mic it or try to find a great position just with my omnis. Sorry, one more... If I spot it, which cardoids and (don't laugh) how many should I use? I have a pair of km184 and a pair of beyer mc930. I will use km183s with millenia hv3c and fireface 800 to record with my laptop.
Any suggestion would be great...
