My French style mid/high absorbers and superchunks

As promised here are a few pics of my mid/high absorbers and corner traps. The absorbers are made from the same metal studs as the clouds. Each frame consists of 4 lengths of metal and is simply riveted together and spray painted.

Cara fabric is then fixed, slightly stretched, with a glue gun to the inside of the frame.

A panel of cotton insulation 50mm thick is placed inside.

The frames simply hang from two screws fixed in the wall as they have a metal "lip" which stops them from falling.

By the end each panel was taking 30mins tops from start to finish.

My corner superchunks are pretty standard 34" faced but made from 200mm thick cotton. On the left hand side I had to incorporate the ventilation entry into the frame as this is where the air enters the room.

The exit is through a similar grill in a superchunk at the rear.

Cheers

PS Oh yeah and I'm fairly proud of my homebuilt console! It's amazing how a bit of T-Moulding can make an amateur desk look pro. I fixed some heavy duty castors underneath so it can be wheeled aginast the wall to create a bit more room for rehearsals.
