The LinnDrum and the LM-1 are two different models. There were only about 525 of the LM-1's manufactured, and I doubt if you'd be able to find one for $300. They fetch as much as $2,000 and more. I paid around £600 (i.e. $1,300-1,500) for my LM-1, which needed a service, but that was the cheapest one I've seen advertised in the last couple of years. The prices James mentioned are more likely what you'd pay for a LinnDrum, which isn't as collectable as the LM-1.
