Okay, it is brickwall-ed like hell, but what about the presence?
Is everybody okay with the density around 2,5-7 kHz area?
I've heard once they were tracking it to analog tapes. It makes sense to me. Everything is over-saturated.
But why not to remove some mess from highs? Isn't that possible during mastering?
I also know how to brickwall stuff, but ear fatigue is something else.
At least my ears say that way.
