I am not trying to be a snob but I get headaches from over-compressed CDs. Audioslave, Damage Plan and Velvet Revolver in particular ... they are great records but I can't do more than two or three songs at a time.
This silly Loudness war will be an excuse for the Labels to re-sell us the albums as alternate "quiet/de-Mastered" mixes in a couple of years.
