you didn't list your monitors, though, and i'll say this: i'd rather mix itb with the right monitors in a good room than with racks full of gear and the wrong monitors in a dicey room.

I am working with NS10's and Auratones in a small, moderately treated control room.
I guess the most I can say is that I'm aware of the room's issues and its pretty clear to me how something's going to translate. I have been thinking about adding a sub, but in my little room, I'm concerned that the extra low end might just cloud things up.
I'm also concerned that high end monitors with extended lows will sound too "pretty" and lull me into thinking something sounds better than it really would on most run of the mill monitoring environments. Not that they're high end per se, but I had some HR824's that drove me nuts for this reason. My bass translates just as well or better on the NS-10's...
