I'm glad you asked this question. I'm trying to do the same thing. I just want to run single tracks through outboard gear from Logic 8 (compressor, EQ, de-esser) and have Logic lay down a new track of the now compressed track. Can't figure it out. I've bought books on Logic, and the topic is never covered. Only use of plug-ins is covered, which I don't need. Anyone that's doing this that can lend a hand?
