I think it was Jay-Z, or whowever came out of retirement, because he said that the rap world has gone down hill and needs to get serious. I thought, oh, now thats cool. But then I heard one of his new songs, rapping about booty's or something. Common, there has got to be more.

I think the last time I seriously liked Rap was back when I listened to the likes of Eric B and Rakim. Perhaps I am just getting old??
+1..I loved some eric B and rakim...You would just think that 20 years later there would be more talent involved..they are still sampling old records and sh&t...no one ever had to learn basic chord structure.

They need to stick to drawing lines through Fruity Loops and leave the real instruments alone!!!!
