I would say that m-audio is better option for you because I've heard that motu preamps are nothing spectacular and I can't see no mention about them two front inputs accepting line level input(ie low z) on TS or TRS(?) jacks. Seems like you would need to use a DI box to avoid high gain setting.
Or I am completely wrong and that's why I'm interested in clarification.
