I got a Naked Eye Roswellite from the local shop to demo and so far I really dig it. I've only tried it on electric so far, but it gave me the perfect low mid range cream to complement the 57 on the other side of the speaker (Tele through a Hiwatt, so I appreciated it's taming on the top end) on the front side and the back side was a pretty good sound all by itself. I'll try vocals and acoustic guitar later this weekend. I don't have access to a 121 to compare (and the Roswellite is about the same price) and I've never tried the original naked eye. Doing a search, I found one or two people comparing the different tones but I thought that I would check back to see if enough people were using these by now to compare the different versions of the Naked Eye and the Roswellite sound vs the Royer. Anyone?

Oh, but what's with the stand adapter? Am I missing a piece? All I've got for the stand side is a hole that's too small for the standard mic stand thread and a ball that's (again) threaded for a smaller rod than the usual mic stand. A shock mount would be great for it, anyone found one that fits?
