my first question is basically about a good way to to use a external delay with the n12(s). if i'm sending to a delay unit using the aux send then what would be the better way to return the signal to the n12. i decided that using a stereo channel would probably be the best way but i'd rather not so im guessing that the stereo input is the other option.
im also considering routing (digitally) each of my n12's to 01v96 (or motif xs) to take advantage of the effects inside. just trying to figure out what routing options would be best for me to use. this one i may have to sit down and just work through but i haven't had much time.
basically i want to be able to use the 2 n12 units together with external effects and still not tie up any of my 24 input channels. i use a lot of midi instruments and would like to set a rough mix with a delay that i can track and the finalize right back from cubase. it seems i have quite a few options and maybe trying a few things is best.
