This is nothing new.
I spent close to $13,000 on a package from Sonic Solutions, and despite the fact it is still sold, and still listed as current (Products / Professional / DVD-Audio Creator / Quick Look), they will not support it at all.
Not even by email.
I am told that if I want any support at all I have to buy an annual plan ($7,000 or $10,000) or else "upgrade" to Scenarist 4 BluRay (only $150,000!!) as apparently "Blu Ray does everything DVD-A did plus a lot more" (which is simply not true)

Makes the Waves WUP look cheap.
