Okay the headline was to get your attention because I really can't find anybody saying that they just LOVE this particular unit.

Heard rumors that the preamp is not the same as the pres used in the X73 and so on.

So does it SUCK? Is it incredible?

Should I get another pair of APIs or a Pacifica instead?
