Hey everyone,
I've been recording for years.. but simultaneous multitrack recording is a relatively new concept to me. SO! I'm looking to buy whatever I may need to make my drums sounds as good as they can on a bit of a budget.

I know that it's hard to not talk about what mics to buy.. but I'm more curious what I need connected to the mics.

Currently I'm just running 7 drum mics into a Fast Track Ultra 8R which is running into ProTools on my Mac.

I know that I missing something in there. (Different Preamp? Some Analog EQ?)
