After 20 days trying EVERYTHING (up to 15 experiments including all kind of windows patches, configurations, cables, different devices, etc) , i can say:
"Yamaha n12 isn't compatible with nforce 650 sli chipset based motherboard"
Now i have other Motherboard with different chipset and "DBC Error" dissapear using the same devices.
Now, n12 works solid and rock!.. withou any kind of windows patches and registry modifications, even with wireless devices.. even with HEAVY LAN traffic, even with all things supposed to be bad for n12 firewire connection.
If you want TO LOVE your n12: "DON'T USE ANYTHING BASED ON 650 SLI CHIPSET".
