You can store your R-121 any way you like. Most ribbon mics need to be
stored vertically to keep the ribbon from stretching, but Royer ribbons
are tougher due to our special "direct corrugation" method that helps

on it's side for ten years and it'll be fine when you go to use it. The advice

what about upside down , I've got my R 84 on a stand in front of a bass amp and had it there for a number of days , almost vertical but upside down... is that ok?
