Ok cool.. Another question:

Since this is a garage conversion for a project studio, Do you think the sound isolation would significantly improve if all the walls and ceiling were installed on a resilient channel?? (with double layer of 1/2" sheetrock sandwiching green glue) As opposed to just the walls that are connected to the house? For some reason I am thinking that if all the walls are on resilient channel it would be more decoupled from the rest of the house and therefore significantly improve isolation. Is this correct (considering I don't want to spend an arm and a leg if I don't have to. (I don't think I will be floating the floor by the way).
