| You know, I've been compressor researching and at first I wanted the Avalon 2044 because I liked their pre, the 2022. But, one, I never really hear feedback about the unit. Hell, I have a thread going on right now about it and only one person replied. Two, when I do get feedback about any of Avalon's compressors, whether it be the 737, 747, or the 2044, people say the EXACT same thing. "The damn thing works too slow." So when you hear it that much, you tend to shy away from units that gets consistantly, bad feedback.
Can anyone say anything good about the 747 or the 2044, because I'm looking for a compressor only, not a strip. Keep hearing a lot about those damn, Distressors. Might have to pick up one in dual channel. |
