If your looking to make this song more exciting, then you might wanna add some more synth lines a little earlier in the song, and spruce up the bass line and the "stabs" lines that run through the song. They're nice sounding, but a little on the "boring" side if you know what I mean.

Yeah I was thining of adding some more synthy stuff before the melody line comes in.. somebody on another forum mentioned copying the bassline with another sound but higher up to give it more definition... the stabs / chords are laid down as audio, ill probably leave them but I might add some spot FX now and then, like you say might make them more interesting...
I was thinking of maybe adding some live percussion as well, cos I now a perc player, but maybe the mix is already busy enough + its that fast im not sure how much they guy could get in there (though obviously I could slow it down while recording)...
