...This happens because the drivers compensate for the delays they have in the conversion and any other process they may have inside the box. Once you go out and back in via ADAT there´s no conversion delays but the driver still compensates for them because it doesn´t know if the audio is digital or not. It happens with RME and MOTU, etc. I´m not saying it´s nice, just explaining it´s not really a bug... the only way to solve this IMO is to split the driver in two...one for analog I/O and the other for digital...maybe this lead to worse problems. BTW: why do you do that?...a bounce gives you the same results, or it should...
