i find many of the gear pimps on this forum to be up front about the gear they sell, they do have to make a living to, it is there job to sell gear, and i am sure they would love it if you got your gear from them.
some of these guys have recommended gear that they did not pimp because they felt it would be best suited for my application.
that my not be true with all, but i would trust what some of these guys have to say.
i do not think it would be in Nathan, Fletcher, or any others interest to be misleading as that would not create a good repeat customer base.
are you sure these guys are not spending as much time, if not more time recording then you?
i do not think you, or anyone else should blindly follow anybody, yes make up your own mind, but some of these guys do know what they are saying.
