it feels like there's no low end in the mix at all, because everything is super bright to the point of being almost painfully harsh. That kick drum is really unnatural, I think it sticks out way too much.
If there was more low end in the rest of the mix, then when when the really deep drum machine hit comes in, it will fit better, as long as room is made for it while its there. Everything sounds a bit squashed together, things need to have their own place - you can't make every element louder than the others.. |
