OK, the jurys back: the switch is good. I've got all four ports and the TRS insert wired in. Works/sounds great. I paid $195.00 for the switch at my local GC (I used the 10% off coupon). So, if you have a bunch of old non-bypass effects I think this is an excellent solution.
