The real answer is, you have to have a music scene to have a regular source of paying clientele. The current scene, or lack thereof, does not support many studios.

Today there is a lack of clubs for musicians to make money to pay for their dreams.

Few clubs and no musical movement is a recipe for consolidation in related industries. So, if you really want to improve the studio business, you will invest in a chain of clubs aimed at young people, create a movement and then route the musicians over to your studio business. That’s the food chain.

Garth Brooks comes out of retirement to fire up the country business again.

Ok, I'm off the charts here but no music scene, no cash flow. Simple as that.
