I can almost guarantee you'll get a better vocal/guitar sound from a larger space, even if you have to use some gobos (much cheaper to make) to do it.

Thank you for your honest answer. I will more than likely be using the gobos in the big room for guitars as a result. But I do really want a soundproofed and acoustically dry room for vocals and have the money set aside to build such a thing, I just don't want to miss important details along the way. When I send post the dimensions and pictures if the general consensus is that it just won't work then Ill have no choice but to abandon this venture. In the meantime, can you offer me some good advice on building gobos?
