Well I wrote that article in effect of fascination with JP-8080. It was first week that i had it. Soon as i started to experiment, this synth became less and less interesting for my taste. Things that i liked on it: 1)feedback osc 2)vocoder 3)external processing. Given the rate JP-8080 had back then i decided to sell it, save the money and now buy Jupiter 6 (this autumn).
UPDATE: Ha! I just listened to those demos, now exactly 2 years since i've made them (and later sold the JP-8080). Well... it's not such a bad sounding synth. But, life goes on - you can't have all the gear.
